Business Mission to the Republic of Kazakhstan
From 26th till 30th of October nineteen representatives of thirteen Perm companies visited Petropavlovsk and Kokshetau (Republic of Kazakhstan) with trade and economic mission. This visit has been organized by Perm Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the invitation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the North Kazakhstan region and Akmola region.
Being aware of the greatest interest of the Perm manufacturers to cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan, Perm CCI constantly promotes Perm goods and services in the Kazakhstan markets. For this purpose the Perm CCI had organized two visits of the Perm companies to take participation in International Exhibitions in the years 1998 and 2002 with their collective exhibition booths. Since 2002 we have held five contact exchange meetings and this mission is the sixth one.
It should be noted that Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North Kazakhstan region was the only Kazakhstan Chamber who organized a business visit to Perm in May 2008. The visit was a great success and as a result of it the sales turnover between the Perm krai and the North Kazakhstan region gained twice increase in the year 2009.
Results of the last business mission: 180 business meetings in total have been held and 30% of these meetings may, as Perm companies assume, give birth to future cooperation. There were reached agreements of intention to supply the following products to the both Kazakhstan regions: Perm wallpapers, packing corrugated carton, chlorofluorohydrocarbons and fluoroplastic, coolant-cutting fluids, cabling and wiring products, rolled metal products and vehicle springs. Also it was agreed to open two representative offices of the Perm companies in Petropavlovsk
