On the 7th of October 2009 Mr. Viktor A.Zamaraev, Director General of Perm CCI, had a meeting with Mr. Alexander Rae, Representative of the largest Belgian company Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., responsible for European, African and Middle East countries. This company has hotels and resorts in 100 countries of the world with total number of employees of 145 thous. persons. The company owns 960 hotels and resorts being the operator and franchisee of the following famous brands: St. Regis®, The Luxury Collection®, Sheraton®, Westin®, Four Points® by Sheraton, W®, Le Méridien®. Mr. Rae has been authorized by the Belgian investors to visit the Perm region with the purpose to study and to get acquainted with investment appeal of the Perm hotel business and other businesses.
